Pope John Paul II World Travels Interactive
The Saint John Paul II National Shrine in Washington, DC features a new interactive wall presenting the numerous humanitarian trips Pope John Paul II took during his papacy for his efforts. As visitors approach this wall, the sensors transition the large display from a unified presentation to an activated state inviting guests to scroll the individual trips.
This application is built on C++ and Cinder due to the need to display very large content and maintain smooth interaction for six simultaneous users. A custom IR touch frame combines the 6 displays into a single touchscreen and custom interactive elements create a stunning visual experience.
